Ministry of Local Government's 2nd Quarterly Report 2026

The Ministry of Local Government is pleased to present its Second Quarterly Report for 2026, reflecting the Ministry's continued commitment to promoting effective local governance, deepening decentralization, and advancing sustainable development throughout the Republic of Liberia. 

Guided by the Government's vision for inclusive growth and citizen-centered governance, the Ministry has remained focused on strengthening local institutions, enhancing public service delivery, fostering social cohesion, and empowering communities to participate in the development process actively.

During the quarter under review, the Ministry implemented a range of strategic initiatives and interventions to reinforce governance structures, support local authorities, and improve coordination across all levels of government. This report highlights key achievements, policy developments, partnerships, and operational milestones, while providing a transparent assessment of challenges encountered and measures adopted to address them. It serves as both an account of progress and a reaffirmation of the Ministry's unwavering dedication to accountability, institutional excellence, and the realization of a decentralized and prosperous Liberia that leaves no county, district, or community behind.
